  • The average family needs groceries 2.2 times per week. Unfortunately, many food pantries only serve people once per month, but not at First African CDC. We are open weekly and you are welcome each week!
  • Our food distributions allow persons to come as often as we open--just bring your ID and fill out our forms.  
  • 1 in 7.5 people, or an estimated 755,400 people, in Metro Atlanta and North Georgia utilize food pantries and meal service programs to feed themselves and their families each year.​​

​When you come for food!
  • Clients are asked to remain in their vehicles during the food distribution.
  • Clients are asked to clean out their trunks before coming to the distribution.
  • Clients are asked to have trunks open and accessible before being served.
  • Clients are required to complete the front and back sections of the intake sheet.​​
